Youth in Agriculture & Business
Since 2017, The Sacramento Barnyard Bidders, a non-profit 501 c(3), has provided a means for the community to support youth participating in our local Junior Livestock Auction through fundraising, direct giving and youth investments. We reward Sacramento County youth for their hard work and commitment to making an animal market-ready.
The youth exemplify integrity, respect and gratitude as they work together and give their personal best realizing that no one succeeds entirely on their own.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Youth members invest in the SBB, are trained in best business practices and encouraged to grow in exemplary character
- Community members (family members, business owners, club leaders) donate to the SBB
- Youth members build partnerships with local businesses and community members inviting them to invest in the SBB
- SBB board members attend local Junior Livestock Auctions in which our members are participating and place add on bids to reflect their commitment to raising healthy market ready animals.
